19 ISRAEL 48
God has written the history of Israel in the Psalms...
Psalms 38 to 44 representing the years 1938 to 1944 the Jews are in distress and are calling out to the Lord for help..these are the years of Hitler and the holocaust!!
Psalm 38:19 But mine enemies are lively, and they are strong: and they that hate me wrongfully are multiplied. They also that render evil for good are mine adversaries; because I follow the thing that good is. Forsake me not, O Lord: O my God, be not far from me. Make haste to help me, O Lord my salvation.
Psalm 45 representing 1945 the Jews are finally rejoicing having been freed by the allies
Psalm 45:4 And in thy majesty ride prosperously because of truth and meekness and righteousness; and thy right hand shall teach thee terrible things. Thine arrows are sharp in the heart of the king's enemies; whereby the people fall under thee. Thy throne, O God, is for ever and ever: the sceptre of thy kingdom is a right sceptre. Thou lovest righteousness, and hatest wickedness: therefore God, thy God, hath anointed thee with the oil of gladness above thy fellows.
Psalm 47 representing 1947 is a Psalm of praise for God as the enemies of the Jews were defeated...this Psalm speaks of the gathering of the Princes/leaders at the UN to give the Jews their INHERITANCE the land of Israel
47 O clap your hands, all ye people; shout unto God with the voice of triumph. For the Lord most high is terrible; he is a great King over all the earth. He shall subdue the people under us, and the nations under our feet. He shall choose our inheritance for us, the excellency of Jacob whom he loved. Selah. God is gone up with a shout, the Lord with the sound of a trumpet. Sing praises to God, sing praises: sing praises unto our King, sing praises. For God is the King of all the earth: sing ye praises with understanding. God reigneth over the heathen: God sitteth upon the throne of his holiness. The princes of the people are gathered together, even the people of the God of Abraham: for the shields of the earth belong unto God: he is greatly exalted.
Psalm 48 represents 1948...Israel was attacked by Kings/leaders of Arab countries that fled...they were overcome by fear... the Psalm speaks of this
Psalm 48:4 For, lo, the kings were assembled, they passed by together.
They saw it, and so they marvelled; they were troubled, and hasted away.
Fear took hold upon them there, and pain, as of a woman in travail.
Psalm 83 representing the year 1983 is regarding
enemies on Israel's borders...in 1983 Israel was at war with the PLO in Lebanon
83 Keep not thou silence, O God: hold not thy peace, and be not still, O God. For, lo, thine enemies make a tumult: and they that hate thee have lifted up the head. They have taken crafty counsel against thy people, and consulted against thy hidden ones. They have said, Come, and let us cut them off from being a nation; that the name of Israel may be no more in remembrance.
Psalm 83 is not just about the year 1983...the PSALM 83 WAR will be fought in the year of the Rapture 2020...the Psalm speaks of a war between Israel's IDF and all it's enemies on her borders
In this war the coastal cities of Ashkelon, Ashdod and Gaza will be in ruins and Jordan will be in a state of perpetual desolation
ZEPHANIAH 2
4 For Gaza shall be forsaken, and Ashkelon a desolation: they shall drive out Ashdod at the noon day, and Ekron shall be rooted up.
